The Foresters CAREER Program is a joint effort by the Gorter Family Career Advancement Center and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations to connect students with select members of the Forester network. As part of this program you will be paired with 1-2 of the College’s alumni, trustees or friends with whom you share a common career interest, major, geographic location, or student involvement.The deadline to register for this program is Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 5p.m. CT.
Get paired with 1-2 alumni, trustees or friends of the College with whom you share a career interest, major, geographic location, or identity.
Your mentor will reach out to schedule a phone or video call with you over the winter break or January. Program participants are then encouraged to maintain this Forester connection if they both have interest and availability. An optional follow-up call is suggested in mid-March around the time of mid-semester break.
These volunteers are here to answer your questions, talk with you about your career path, offer their support, and where possible, provide advice, referrals, and tips for success.
