Adela Goldbard, an artist and filmmaker, advocates for art's power to provoke critical thought and societal change. As an Associate Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design and a member of Mexico's National Endowment for the Arts, she challenges conventional cinema through historical reenactments and collaborative creation, often infused with satire and dark humor. Goldbard's multidisciplinary work incorporates photography, video, sculpture, text, public interventions, and immersive installations.
